Bangkok Flooding Stabilizes But Disaster Declaration Remains Citywide

The situation in Bangkok began with persistent heavy rainfall that started on Thursday afternoon. Despite these efforts, water continued to enter homes, restaurants, and other buildings, with images showing flooded streets and stranded vehicles. The situation remained tense as the city braced for more rain.

Bangkok remains under red alert, with the flood disaster declaration still in effect. Emergency teams are working to evacuate residents from the hardest-hit areas and provide support where possible. The eastern districts continue to face the deepest flooding, but all parts of the city are affected.
